Offset

The Offset mortgage allows you to keep a number of accounts with the same lender, including savings and a personal loan. When the lender calculates how much interest you owe on your mortgage, it takes these other accounts into consideration. Any savings reduce the amount you owe, while any debts are added to your mortgage and charged at the mortgage rate.
